Exams Postponed Due to Students, Parents Concerns

Since the last few weeks, MHT-CET students and their parents have been urging the state government to postpone the exam in the view of widespread Coronavirus infection in the state. Maharashtra is one of the worst-hit states in India due to the COVID-19 pandemic with Mumbai being the epicenter of the disease. In such times, holding state-level entrance exams to screen students would not be possible without exposing candidates to the risk of contracting the virus while appearing for the exam. Taking this view the Higher Education Department of Maharashtra Government has decided to postpone the state-level entrance exams.
