AIIMS MBBS 2019 computer-based exam is conducted across 151 exam cities in the country on May 25 and 26. Candidates who qualify in the exam will be eligible for admission to 1,207 MBBS seats, including 7 seats for foreign nationals at AIIMS New Delhi. These seats are distributed across 15 participating AIIMS institutes.
Candidates who have appeared in the AIIMS MBBS 2019 entrance exam have given their verdict on the difficulty level of the exam. A majority of candidates, whom we surveyed, said that Physics by far was the toughest of the three major subjects, & Biology being the easiest.
Manali Kale, a candidate appeared in both NEET 2019 and AIIMS MBBS 2019 say that the NEET 2019 was easier.
Jaspreet, who was appearing in the exam for the second time said that AIIMS MBBS 2019 was easier compared to previous year; the paper last time was much tougher, while this time around he found the paper to be of moderate difficulty level. Of the three main subjects in AIIMS MBBS 2019, he said Physics was a bit tricky, but both Chemistry and Biology were pretty easy.
Candidates, since the general consensus is the paper is average difficult, there is a high probability the cut-off would be higher this year than last year.
Pramod Shinde, a student who appeared on May 26 (morning session), said that chemistry section had more questions from organic and physical than from inorganic section. He also said most questions in Biology were from NCERT.
There will always be exceptions to the rule! There are a few candidates like Sonal who stated that AIIMS MBBS 2019 question paper that was easier! In his case, and many like her, it is very much possible that their preparation strategy and also inherent abilities were suited to the types of questions that were asked in the AIIMS MBBS exam.
