MHT-CET 2020 Exam to be held from 1st to 20th Oct

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the revised schedule for conducting the Common Entrance Test or MHT CET 2020 on the official website The examinations will be conducted from October 1 to October 20. The engineering entrance examination (PCM) would be conducted from October 12 to October 20, 2020, across the state.

CET Cell has announced the dates after receiving permission to conduct the examination. Earlier this month, Higher & Technical Education Minister, Uday Samant had shared that the examinations would be conducted from October 1 to 15. The final dates have now been released.

MHT CET 2020 would be conducted on multiple days and in multiple slots to avoid overcrowding of students at examination centers. MHT-CET or Maharastra CET cell would be releasing details COVID19 guidelines as well for conducting the examination.

Students who have applied for the examination are advised to keep a check on the official website for the latest updates on the examination. A complete schedule including the date for the release of admit card, result, and counseling would be provided soon on the website. Updates would also be available here.

MHT CET 2020

MHT CET is the undergraduate level entrance examination for admission to engineering, pharmacy, and agricultural courses in the state of Maharashtra. As many as 4.55 lakh students have applied for the MHT CET examination this year. The examination is usually conducted in May. This year, however, MHT CET 2020 was postponed due to COVID19. The new schedule has now been released.

Students who wish to take up engineering courses in the state are required to appear for PCM courses. For the students who wish to take up undergraduate courses in pharmacy or agriculture are required to appear for PCB examination.
