The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will conduct Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MHT CET 2020 for admission to undergraduate programs of engineering, pharmacy, agriculture in academic session 2020-21. The exam will be held in an online mode.
CET Cell has decided to organize the exam for over 16 to 20 days in the second and third weeks in May in the year 2020. Exact dates of the exam shall be finalized after looking at the other exam dates that may cause conflict for students.

MHT CET 2020 will be held for two groups PCM and PCB, in more than one session. To eliminate the differences that arise due to different sessions, the CET cell shall use a normalization method for ranking. Documents explaining the normalization formula and percentile method will be published on the website mahacet.org.
Last year MHT CET was held from May 2 to 13. The online application form for the exam was released on January 1 and accepted until March 31. After the exam, the result was announced on June 4. The exam was of 90 minutes. There were three papers. Paper 1 was mathematics with 50 questions of 100 marks. Then paper 2 had 50 questions of physics, and 50 of chemistry, for a total of 100 marks. Paper 3 had botany and zoology questions, 50 each, for a total of 100 marks.
